AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BENTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO BENTON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to Benton County Development Association, Incorporated, out of any available funds of the county, a sum not to exceed an amount equal to the avails produced by a one (1) mill levy on the assessed valuation of all taxable property of the county, which monies may be expended for the purpose of providing an operating fund for such association.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
