AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation to support industrial development in the county and the City of Oxford, out of any available funds, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) during the calendar year 2000.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
