A RESOLUTION COMMENDING ADRIAN POWELL FOR HIS CREATIVE TALENTS AND OUTSTANDING PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN THE MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATIVE WEB SITE WINNING THE COVETED "ADDY" AWARD. 

WHEREAS, Adrian Powell's creative talents and his outstanding photographs of the Capitol's architecture were instrumental in the Mississippi Legislative Web Site winning the American Advertising Federation's "Addy" Award; and

WHEREAS, Adrian Powell's photographs of the Capitol's architecture were used as part of the design of the Legislative Web Site; and

WHEREAS, Adrian Powell's photographs were also used as navigation tools for using the Legislative Web Site; and

WHEREAS, Adrian Powell will receive an "Addy" for his creative talent and contributions; and

WHEREAS, the award-winning Legislative Web Site will now compete in the American Advertising Federation's 7th District Competition in Memphis; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Mississippi Senate to commend the noteworthy achievements of the citizens of the state:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSISSIPPI STATE SENATE, That we do hereby commend Adrian Powell for his creative talents and photographs and congratulate him upon winning an "Addy" for his contributions to the award-winning Legislative Web Site.
