A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DR. ENNIS PROCTOR FOR HIS EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor was selected as Executive Director of the Mississippi High School Activities Association in 1991; and
WHEREAS, under Dr. Ennis Proctor's innovative leadership, the Mississippi High School Activities Association is now recognized as one of the top high school associations in the country; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degree from Mississippi College and a Doctorate of Education from Mississippi State University; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor has had a long and a noteworthy career in education; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor is active in his community and civic organizations; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor has devoted his time and talents to Alta Woods Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon and Sunday School director; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ennis Proctor served in the United States Marine Corps and received the highest proficiency rating of his platoon in advanced combat training; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Legislature to recognize the outstanding achievements of its citizens:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MISSISSIPPI STATE SENATE, That we do hereby commend Dr. Ennis Proctor for his innovative leadership of the Mississippi High School Activities Association and wish him continued success in his endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be presented to Dr. Ennis Proctor.
