AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JONES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO EMPLOY AN ATTORNEY AS A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jones County, Mississippi, is hereby authorized and empowered to employ annually, in its discretion, an attorney as a full-time employee of the county subject to the terms and conditions provided for in Section 19-3-47(3).

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
