AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO HARVEY ELLIS WILLIAMS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

 

SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Harvey Ellis Williams of Washington County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of grand larceny in 1982 in Washington County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve four (4) years in the custody of the Department of Corrections. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for four (4) years. His probation was terminated on May 16, 1986. Since that time he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
