AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COVINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE AN AMOUNT FROM ANY AVAILABLE COUNTY FUNDS TO ASSIST IN THE OPERATION OF THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF COVINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Covington County, Mississippi, are hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute during calendar year 1998, from any available county funds, an amount not to exceed Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), to assist in the operation of the Boys and Girls Club of Covington County, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
