AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI CENTER FOR GIFTED STUDIES, LEADERSHIP STUDIES PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to donate a sum not exceeding Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($650.00) from any available funds, during the calendar year 1998 to the University of Southern Mississippi Center for Gifted Studies, Leadership Studies Program.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
