AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CREATE A COUNTY EMPLOYEES CANTEEN FUND; TO PROVIDE THAT THE FUND BE USED FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEE FUNCTIONS; TO PROVIDE THAT PROCEEDS FROM VENDING MACHINES LOCATED IN COUNTY FACILITIES BE PLACED IN THE CANTEEN FUND; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The board of supervisors of any county may, in its discretion, create a special fund in the county treasury to be designated as "the county employees canteen fund." Any monies in the fund shall be expended by the Board of Supervisors for county employee functions. Proceeds from vending machines located in county facilities may be placed into the canteen fund.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
