AN ACT APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURE OF SPECIAL FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE PAT HARRISON WATERWAY DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. In addition to all other sums heretofore authorized, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized and approved for expenditure out of any funds which are received by or otherwise become available to the Pat Harrison Waterway District, for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the district for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998 $ 135,000.00.
SECTION 2. This additional appropriation is made for the purpose of preventing a deficit which would otherwise occur in the Contractual Services, Commodities and Capital Outlay: Equipment major objects of expenditure.
SECTION 3. The money herein approved for expenditure shall be disbursed upon bank checks signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
