AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT INFORMATION REGARDING SPEEDING TICKETS SHALL NOT BE OF PUBLIC RECORD; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Any record involving speeding tickets shall be kept confidential and shall not be of public record, and as such, information involving speeding tickets shall not be published nor held to be for publication.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1998.
