AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 37-23-151 THROUGH 37-23-157, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF A REGISTRY WITHIN THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR PERSONS HAVING IMPAIRED HEARING OR VISION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

 

SECTION 1. Sections 37-23-151, 37-23-153, 37-23-155 and 37-23-157, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provide for the establishment and development of a registry within the State Board of Health for persons having impaired hearing or vision, are repealed.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1998.
