AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI, TO NAME AND DESIGNATE CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI, AS THE "VICKSBURG PARK"; TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF SOUTHAVEN, MISSISSIPPI, TO USE THE PROPERTY PRESENTLY KNOWN AS THE "VICKSBURG PARK" FOR ANY PURPOSES THAT ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY ORDINANCES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of Southaven, Mississippi, may name and designate Lot No. 101 of the Southaven Subdivision Section A as the "Vicksburg Park." If the property is designated as the "Vicksburg Park," it shall be used only as a park.

SECTION 2. The governing authorities of Southaven, Mississippi, may use the property known, as of the effective date of this act, as the "Vicksburg Park" for any purposes that are in accordance with city ordinances.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
