AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF GEORGE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO RETIRE CERTAIN INDEBTEDNESS TO THE BANK OF LUCEDALE AND THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF LUCEDALE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of George County, Mississippi, is authorized to retire indebtedness to the Bank of Lucedale and the First National Bank of Lucedale from any available funds of the county. The total amount of indebtedness that may be retired under this act shall not exceed the aggregate sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00), and such indebtedness must have been incurred before the effective date of this act.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
