AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE TOWN OF OAKLAND, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONVEY CERTAIN PROPERTY TO YALOBUSHA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. In consideration of One Dollar ($1.00), the governing authorities of the Town of Oakland, Mississippi, may convey certain property known as the old Oakland High School property and any buildings located on the property to the Board of Supervisors of Yalobusha County. The property is to be used as a community center for the Oakland area, which is a part of Yalobusha County, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. The Town of Oakland shall retain all mineral rights in the property conveyed pursuant to this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
