AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS TO NOTIFY THE SHERIFF AND THE POLICE CHIEFS OF MUNICIPALITIES IN THE COUNTY WHEN ANY OUT OF STATE PAROLEE IS PAROLED TO THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI UNDER THE UNIFORM ACT FOR OUT-OF-STATE PAROLEE SUPERVISION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Department of Corrections shall notify the sheriff of the county and the police chief of each municipality in the county when a person is paroled to the county under the Uniform Act for Out-of-state Parolee Supervision.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
