AN ACT TO DELETE A CERTAIN SECTION OF HIGHWAY FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM AND RETURN IT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The following section of highway is deleted from the state highway system, removed from the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Transportation Commission and returned to the jurisdiction of the City of Vicksburg:

Central District - Warren County:

That portion of Warrenton Road (Old U. S. 61) in the City of Vicksburg from I-20 South to U. S. 61, a distance of approximately 2.3 miles.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
