AN ACT TO CREATE A NEW SECTION TO BE CODIFIED AS SECTION 73-4-53, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE A REPEALER FOR THE MISSISSIPPI AUCTIONEERS LICENSE ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The following shall be codified as Section 73-4-53, Mississippi Code of 1972:

73-4-53. Sections 73-4-1 through 73-4-51, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provide for the regulation of auctioneers, shall stand repealed on June 30, 1999.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
