AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO USE RESOURCES FURNISHED TO THE OFFICER TO PERFORM LAW ENFORCEMENT RELATED OFF-DUTY WORK; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. A law enforcement officer, as defined in Section 45-6-3, is authorized to use any resources furnished to such law enforcement officer by the political subdivision employing such law enforcement officers to perform off-duty work, provided that such off-duty work is law enforcement related.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
