AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF BILOXI TO CONTRIBUTE A CERTAIN SUM OF MONEY TO BEAUVOIR, THE JEFFERSON DAVIS SHRINE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute to Beauvoir, the Jefferson Davis Shrine, out of any available municipal funds, an amount not to exceed Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) to aid in the construction of the Jefferson Davis Presidential Library and the development of a public relations office for advertising.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
