AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7, CHAPTER 530, LAWS OF 1968, AS AMENDED, TO INCREASE THE PER DIEM COMPENSATION AUTHORIZED FOR COMMISSIONERS OF THE MISSISSIPPI COAST COLISEUM COMMISSION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 7, Chapter 530, Laws of 1968, as amended by Chapter 435, Laws of 1972, is amended as follows:

Section 7. Each commissioner of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Commission may receive compensation in the amount authorized in Section 25-3-69, Mississippi Code of 1972, while engaged in commission meetings or other duties of the commission, but such allowances shall not exceed One Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($1,800.00) for any one (1) commissioner during the calendar year. Commissioners may be reimbursed for their actual expenses when on commission business.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
