AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HINDS COUNTY TO REFUND TO CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI CIVIC IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION, INC., CERTAIN ERRONEOUSLY PAID AD VALOREM TAXES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Hinds County, Mississippi, is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to pay to Central Mississippi Civic Improvement Association, Inc., doing business as Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center, an amount not to exceed Nine Thousand Eighty-seven Dollars and Forty-two Cents ($9,087.42) as a refund of ad valorem taxes erroneously paid by such entity to Hinds County for tax years 1988 through 1995.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
