AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY TO PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY TO THE TUNICA COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to pay annually, through calendar year 2002, to the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce out of the general fund of the county an amount not to exceed the equivalent of the avails of a one (1) mill levy imposed upon all taxable property in Tunica County.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
