AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE FAIR COMMISSION, BY AND THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION, TO DONATE TO THE CITY OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, SUCH REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF HIGH STREET IN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, AS REASONABLY NECESSARY FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THAT PORTION OF HIGH STREET NEAR THE STATE FAIRGROUNDS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The State Fair Commission, by and through the Department of Finance and Administration, is authorized to donate to the City of Jackson, Mississippi, such real property located along the right-of-way of High Street in Jackson, Mississippi, as reasonably necessary for the reconstruction and improvement of that portion of High Street near the State Fairgrounds.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
