AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 21 IN NESHOBA COUNTY AS THE "ARTHUR WINSTEAD MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 21 in Neshoba County from its intersection with Mississippi 15 and Mississippi 19 northeasterly to the Neshoba County line shall be known as the "Arthur Winstead Memorial Highway."

(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching such highway.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1997.
