House Bill 1928

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO LOCATE THE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE IN A BUILDING THAT IS MORE THAN ONE-HALF MILE BUT NOT MORE THAN FIVE MILES FROM THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to locate the Marshall County Sheriff's Office in a building that is located more than one-half (1/2) mile but not more than five (5) miles from the county courthouse.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
