AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY OF MOSS POINT, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONSTRUCT A VETERAN'S MEMORIAL AT THE HOSPITALITY STATION LOCATED ON INTERSTATE 10 IN EAST JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY OF MOSS POINT TO ACCEPT DONATIONS TOWARD THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VETERAN'S MEMORIAL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Moss Point, Mississippi, may construct a Veteran's Memorial at the Hospitality Station located on Interstate Highway 10 in east Jackson County, Mississippi, and may receive any donations of funds, materials, labor or other assistance from the Knights of Columbus or any other private organization for the construction of the Veteran's Memorial.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
