AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ISSAQUENA COUNTY TO ACCEPT TITLE TO THE LAND, DISTRICT OFFICES AND EQUIPMENT SHEDS OF THE MISSISSIPPI FORESTRY COMMISSION LOCATED IN ISSAQUENA COUNTY IF THE MISSISSIPPI FORESTRY COMMISSION IS AUTHORIZED BY GENERAL LAW TO TRANSFER TITLE TO THE LAND, OFFICES AND SHEDS; TO PRESCRIBE THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE LAND MAY BE USED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Issaquena County may accept title to any land, district offices and equipment sheds of the Mississippi Forestry Commission located at the East Prong of Steele's Bayou, Issaquena County, Mississippi, if the Mississippi Forestry Commission is authorized by general law to transfer title to such property and actually transfers such title. The board of supervisors may use the land, offices and sheds to store county equipment and for any other county purposes deemed appropriate by the board of supervisors.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
