AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO APPROPRIATE TO THE TUNICA COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FROM THE TUNICA COUNTY GENERAL FUND A SUM OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED AN AMOUNT EQUIVALENT TO A ONE MILL TAX LEVY UPON THE ASSESSED VALUE OF THE PROPERTY OF TUNICA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

 

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, is authorized to appropriate out of the Tunica County general fund to the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce a sum of money not to exceed an amount equivalent to a one (1) mill tax levy upon the assessed value of the property of Tunica County.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
