AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE SUMS OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED IN THE AGGREGATE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS QUALIFIED UNDER SECTION 501(c)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, may donate sums of money not to exceed in the aggregate more than One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), from any available county funds, to nonprofit organizations qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
