AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PAY THE VICTIM IN THE CASE OF STATE OF MISSISSIPPI VERSUS KEVIN LAMAR HARRISON, CAUSE NO. B2401-94-00098; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

 

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to pay out of any available county funds to the criminal victim in the case of State of Mississippi versus Kevin Lamar Harrison, Cause No. B2401-94-00098, a sum not to exceed One Thousand One Hundred Thirty-four Dollars ($1,134.00) as full and complete settlement of any and all claims the victim might have against Harrison County, its officials or any of its employees.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
