AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE SUMS OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED IN THE AGGREGATE TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO THE LYNN MEADOWS DISCOVERY CENTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING A CHILDREN'S MUSEUM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, may donate sums of money not to exceed in the aggregate Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), from any available city funds, to the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, a not-for-profit organization, to match other funds donated, for the purpose of building a children's museum.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
