AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF MENDENHALL, MISSISSIPPI, TO EXPEND CITY FUNDS AND USE CITY EMPLOYEES AND CITY EQUIPMENT TO MAINTAIN ANY PUBLICLY AND/OR PRIVATELY OWNED CEMETERIES LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Mendenhall, Mississippi, in their discretion, may expend city funds and use city employees and city equipment to perform services the city deems necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of any publicly and/or privately owned cemeteries located within the corporate limits of the city.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
