AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 69-1-32, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO RENAME THE AGRICULTURE MUSEUM AS THE MISSISSIPPI AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTRY MUSEUM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 69-1-32, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

69-1-32. The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum shall be renamed and known as the * * * Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum. The Department of Agriculture and Commerce shall have an appropriate sign or signs placed at the museum displaying the new name of the museum.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1997.
