AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE MISSISSIPPI BAR SHALL BE SUBJECT TO AUDIT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF AUDIT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. In addition to any other audits authorized as required by law, the Mississippi Bar shall be subject to audit by the Department of Audit in the same manner as any other state agency created by statute.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1997.
