Title: AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF JACKSON TO IMPOSE AN ASSESSMENT NOT TO EXCEED ONE DOLLAR TO BE LEVIED IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT UPON EACH VIOLATION FOR WHICH A UNIFORM TRAFFIC TICKET IS ISSUED BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OF THE MUNICIPALITY; TO PROVIDE THAT THE PROCEEDS FROM THE ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT SHALL BE EXPENDED SOLELY TO OFFSET THE COST TO THE MUNICIPAL POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN COMPUTERIZED CRIME PREVENTION EQUIPMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
