Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 41-23-37, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT FEMALE CHILDREN MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST THE HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS (HPV) BEFORE THEY MAY ENROLL IN AND ATTEND THE SIXTH GRADE AT ANY SCHOOL; TO AMEND SECTION 43-13-117, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT FOR HPV VACCINATIONS FOR WOMEN WHO ARE AT LEAST NINETEEN YEARS OF AGE BUT NOT MORE THAN TWENTY-SIX YEARS OF AGE; TO REQUIRE HEALTH BENEFIT PLANS THAT ARE ISSUED OR RENEWED ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 2008, TO PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR IMMUNIZATION AGAINST HPV FOR EACH FEMALE CHILD OF THE INSURED WHO IS AT LEAST NINE YEARS OF AGE BUT NOT MORE THAN TWENTY-SIX YEARS OF AGE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
