Title: A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING THE DRAFTING, INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF A BILL ENTITLED "AN ACT RELATING TO PRIMARY ELECTIONS; TO PROVIDE THAT POLITICAL PARTIES MAY REQUIRE ELECTORS TO REGISTER WITH THE APPROPRIATE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE PARTY IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION; TO CLARIFY THAT THE POLITICAL PARTY IS IN CHARGE OF CONDUCTING THE PRIMARY ELECTION AND THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL POLITICAL PARTY WILL ESTABLISH ITS OWN RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING PARTICIPATION IN THE PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE STATE AND FEDERAL LAW OR COURT ORDER; TO AUTHORIZE POLITICAL PARTIES, IN THEIR DISCRETION, TO REQUIRE ELECTORS TO REGISTER AS A MEMBER OF THE POLITICAL PARTY IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION; TO AMEND SECTION 23-15-263 AND OTHER APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972 IN CONFORMITY THERETO; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
