Title: AN ACT TO PROVIDE AN INCOME TAX CREDIT TO COMPANIES THAT MANUFACTURE NEW PRODUCTS OR THAT SUBSTANTIALLY IMPROVE EXISTING PRODUCTS THAT HAVE A LESSER OR REDUCED ADVERSE EFFECT ON HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT OR PROVIDES FOR IMPROVEMENT TO HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT WHEN COMPARED WITH EXISTING PRODUCTS OR COMPETING PRODUCTS THAT SERVE THE SAME PURPOSE; TO PROVIDE THAT THE MISSISSIPPI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY SHALL EXERCISE CERTAIN POWERS WITH REGARD TO THE CREDIT; TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE PROJECT; TO PROVIDE FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE CREDIT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
