Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 27-65-17 AND 27-65-22, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO LEVY AN ADDITIONAL SALES TAX UPON THE SALE OR RENTAL OF CERTAIN SEXUALLY EXPLICIT VIDEOS, DVD'S, FILMS, ELECTRONIC MEDIUM OR ADULT ORIENTED NOVELTIES AND UPON CHARGES FOR ADMISSION TO CERTAIN SEXUALLY EXPLICIT EXHIBITIONS; TO CREATE A SPECIAL FUND IN THE STATE TREASURY TO THE CREDIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH HOLDING CENTERS AND SPECIALIZED TREATMENT FACILITIES FOR THE SEVERELY EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED ESTABLISHED BY THE DEPARTMENT AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE ADDITIONAL TAXES LEVIED UNDER THIS ACT SHALL BE DEPOSITED INTO THE SPECIAL FUND; TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
