Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 47-7-3, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO CLARIFY THE TERM "FIRST OFFENDER" FOR PURPOSES OF DETERMINING IF SUCH AN OFFENDER IS ELIGIBLE FOR PAROLE AND TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON CONVICTED OF A DUI RESULTING IN DEATH SHALL SERVE 85% OF THE SENTENCE IMPOSED UPON HIM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
