Title: AN ACT TO CREATE A SPECIAL FUND TO BE KNOWN AS THE WORKFORCE TRAINING RESERVE FUND INTO WHICH SHALL BE DEPOSITED 35% OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS MADE BY EMPLOYERS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE BALANCE IN THE FUND REACHES $200,000,000.00; TO PROVIDE THAT THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF THE INVESTMENT EARNINGS ON MONEY IN THE FUND SHALL BE APPROPRIATED ANNUALLY BY THE LEGISLATURE TO THE STATE BOARD FOR COMMUNITY AND JUNIOR COLLEGES FOR USE IN THE WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAMS AT THE VARIOUS COMMUNITY AND JUNIOR COLLEGES; TO AUTHORIZE THE TREASURER TO TRANSFER CERTAIN AMOUNTS TO THE STATE'S ACCOUNT IN THE UNEMPLOYMENT TRUST FUND UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; TO AMEND SECTIONS 71-5-357 AND 71-5-453, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY THERETO; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
