Title: A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING THE DRAFTING, AND THE INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE, OF A BILL ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-69-13, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE THE EXCISE TAX ON CIGARETTES BY NINE-TWENTIETHS OF ONE CENT ON EACH CIGARETTE; TO AMEND SECTION 27-69-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE REVENUE DERIVED FROM THE TAX INCREASE PROVIDED FOR BY THIS ACT SHALL BE DEPOSITED INTO A SPECIAL FUND IN THE STATE TREASURY TO THE CREDIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH, TO BE EXPENDED SOLELY FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SEVEN MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS CENTERS LOCATED IN BATESVILLE, BROOKHAVEN, CLEVELAND, CORINTH, GRENADA, LAUREL AND NEWTON AND THE SPECIALIZED TREATMENT FACILITY LOCATED IN GULFPORT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
