Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 43-20-5, 43-20-7, 43-20-8, 43-20-11, 43-20-12, 43-20-14, 43-20-53, 43-20-55, 43-20-57, 43-20-59 AND 43-1-2, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO TRANSFER THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH RELATING TO THE LICENSURE OF CHILD CARE FACILITIES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES SHALL PERFORM ALL OF THE DUTIES RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ENFORCEMENT OF REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE OPERATION OF LICENSED CHILD CARE FACILITIES THAT WERE FORMERLY PERFORMED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
