Title: AN ACT TO EXEMPT HIGH PERFORMING SCHOOL DISTRICTS AS DEFINED BY THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION FROM PERFORMING CERTAIN DUTIES IMPOSED ON SCHOOL DISTRICTS; TO AMEND SECTION 37-1-3, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO DEVELOP A GRANT PROGRAM EXCLUSIVELY FOR HIGH PERFORMING SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO RECEIVE FUNDS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; TO AMEND SECTIONS 37-3-2, 37-11-53, 37-13-10, 37-13-41, 37-13-89, 37-43-31 AND 37-151-23, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
