Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-151-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DELETE THE DEFINITION OF CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR IN DETERMINING THE AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE UNDER THE ADEQUATE EDUCATION PROGRAM; TO EXTEND THE REPEALER ON THE PROVISION OF LAW THAT ESTABLISHES THE HIGH-GROWTH SCHOOL DISTRICT FORMULA UNDER THE ADEQUATE EDUCATION PROGRAM; TO CREATE A NEW SECTION OF LAW TO PROVIDE THAT THE COMPENSATION OF ANY ATTORNEY EMPLOYED BY A SCHOOL BOARD WHO IS A MEMBER OF THE LEGISLATURE SHALL BE PAID ONLY FROM FUNDS AVAILABLE TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT ARE NOT APPROPRIATED BY THE LEGISLATURE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
