Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-3-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO ALLOW THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF RANKIN COUNTY, IN ITS DISCRETION, TO EMPLOY FULL TIME THE ELECTED COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY AND AN ASSISTANT COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY; TO ESTABLISH THE MAXIMUM COMPENSATION FOR EACH OF SUCH POSITIONS; TO CONFORM THE AMOUNT THAT MAY BE PAID BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CERTAIN COUNTIES AS A SECRETARIAL ALLOWANCE FOR THE OFFICE OF COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY TO THE AMOUNT ALLOWED FOR SUCH PURPOSE IN OTHER COUNTIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
