Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 57-75-5, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REVISE THE DEFINITION OF THE TERM "PROJECT" FOR PURPOSES OF THE MISSISSIPPI MAJOR ECONOMIC IMPACT ACT TO REVISE THE TYPE OF JOBS THAT MAY BE CONSIDERED IN DETERMINING WHETHER A PROJECT MEETS THE MINIMUM JOBS REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN PROJECTS UNDER SUCH ACT; TO AMEND SECTION 27-7-22.19, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE JOBS TAX CREDIT AUTHORIZED FOR INTEGRATED SUPPLIERS OF CERTAIN PROJECTS DEVELOPED UNDER THE MISSISSIPPI MAJOR ECONOMIC IMPACT ACT MAY NOT EXCEED 50% OF THE TAXPAYER'S STATE INCOME TAX LIABILITY THAT IS ATTRIBUTABLE TO INCOME DERIVED FROM OPERATION IN THE STATE FOR A TAX YEAR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
