Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 65-1-8, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT RURAL WATER DISTRICTS, RURAL WATER SYSTEMS, NONPROFIT WATER ASSOCIATIONS AND MUNICIPAL PUBLIC WATER SYSTEMS IN MUNICIPALITIES WITH A POPULATION OF 10,000 OR LESS, SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO BEAR THE COST AND EXPENSE OF REMOVAL AND RELOCATION OF THEIR FACILITIES FROM THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF STATE HIGHWAYS; TO PROVIDE THAT THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SUCH REMOVAL SHALL BE PAID BY THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
