Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-13-115, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT PERSONS WHO ARE DETERMINED TO BE DISABLED BY THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION WHOSE INCOME DOES NOT EXCEED 200% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICAID; TO PROVIDE THAT THOSE PERSONS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICAID UNTIL THEY BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICARE; TO DIRECT THE DIVISION OF MEDICAID TO APPLY FOR A FEDERAL WAIVER TO ALLOW FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRECEDING PROVISIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
